Vintage Nursery: Out of Control

My nursery will be SO well stocked with diaper rash cream, cotton balls, and q-tips. Why? Because I’ve got SO MANY awesome containers to put them in.

The helicopter plays “Rock a Bye Baby.” How am I not supposed to buy that? These vintage nursery planters are a dime a dozen around here — I’m about to unload a ton of them at my yard sale, since I couldn’t sell them in either the booth or at the last Vintage Bazaar. But now that I have my own nursery, they’re ever-so-much more attractive to me. I just need to stop now, because there isn’t enough surface area in the nursery to hold them all, and I’m pretty sure it’s frowned upon to keep some in the cribs.

We should find out the genders next week, by the way, so that will make picking out vintage nursery planters even more exciting.

janie hightower Even if I had never been a mom or grandma, I would’ve HAD to buy those three items above if I had seen them first. They are CUTE!!!

Amy How cute! I have been decorating my 3 year old daughter’s room in vintage and she really loves it! I snagged a bunch of vintage fabric from like the 40’s or 50’s for window treatments, a vintage feed sack quilt for the vintage white iron bed, vintage holly hobbie dolls, etc… so much fun! Enjoy!

Lara Jo Ooooh, I really want to incorporate vintage fabric but I haven’t found enough of anything that would be appropriate yet. I was thinking that Reprot Depot would come through for me but they’re closed for the summer…I’ll just have to keep looking. And you KNOW how I hate going to yard sales, thrift stores, and estate sales.
