More Fun Finds.

That film canister was a impulse buy. What the heck am I going to do with that? I just liked the looks of it and I had never seen anything like it before. Upper right hand corner: these came from a Candace Estate Sale. I don’t know if I’ve written about Candace before. She runs my FAVORITE estate sale company. I don’t know if she does it part time or what, but she only has estate sales┬ásporadically, and they’re always in Beverly. Her sales are always really interesting houses, and are in various states of messiness and organization — but then I don’t like estate sales that are super-organized. I like to dig for my stuff. Candace’s prices are AMAZING. Not a whole lot is priced prior to the sale opening but she always gives excellent prices on unpriced items. She lumps a lot of stuff together for one low price, too, like this cute enamel pot (it has a lid) that had seven gorgeous vintage glass bottles with glass lids for FIVE DOLLARS. Not a chip on the wee little bottles! I love her. The tool box in the lower left square makes me very happy. It’s perfect for craft supplies. Last, the tiny little album with the neatest tourist pictures of some foreign country I am not educated enough to recognize. This is one of those things that buy that has no discernible purpose but I buy it anyway. Maybe I’ll put it on my coffee table.

janie hightower I love all these things. I wonder if the pink enamel pot is for canning something like jelly in.
