Weirdest Thrift Score Ever?

I bought a huge bag full of these vials at the thrift store a while back.

That’s only HALF of the vials I came home with! First of all, they were in a plastic bag. I am under the sway of the plastic bag. All the thrift stores around here throw the weirdest collection of things in plastic bags, staple the top, and slap a price tag on them. They’re like surprise bags — you can’t exactly get your hands on the contents prior to purchasing to see what you’re getting. There’s something powerful about that to me. Put it in a plastic bag and I’m much more likely to buy it.  I have no idea what the heck I’m going to do with these — but they would be really good for beads, I guess, for someone who makes jewelry. Do you want them, Mom? I have about two hundred of them! I can spare a few!

janie hightower I love it when you talk to me on your blog! Thank you, but I don’t need any of those vials — I probably would’ve bought them, tho, if I’d seen them somewhere.

Leilani Hrm I wonder what they were originally used for– some kind of medical or lab purpose? I bet you could come up with something interesting to do with them! I’m with you on the random plastic bag thing, it’s like a ‘surprise’ grab bag, you just never know what you might get.
