Blueprint Magazine.

Did you guys read Blueprint? It was only around for about a year, around 2006-2007. It was a Martha Stewart publication — I think it was an attempt to draw in a younger demographic than the Martha Stewart Magazine brand did. It was AWESOME and I LOVED it. So of course it was cancelled. I think it came in right at the beginning of that wave of shelter magazine cancellations that plagues us still today. I kept every issue and am going to scan in some of my favorite projects/ideas now that things are kind of slow in the yard sale/thrift store area.

I loved this idea.

I can think of a hundred things I could have blown up. Sentimental notes between your grandma and grandpa; cool cigar labels; vintage matchbook covers; vintage ads; childhood pictures…the list is endless.

Sarah I loved Blueprint! These pages are what orginally convinced me to subscribe. I was so sad that it was short-lived. I am glad though that I’ve kept every edition.

Kristy Hodge I don’t remember Blueprint, but I LOVE LOVE this idea! I can get a 20″ x 24″ print at Sam’s Club for $7.96. I’m going to use this idea!!!

Emily At the time of Blueprint I was only 16 and fell in love with it. I too feel the loss of such an inspiring magazine! Being a compulsive saver I kept mine and am now attempting to locate the few I didn’t originally get. I am so ecstatic there are others out there who appreciated Martha’s attempt to reach out to new audiences. Thank you so much for raising my spirits!
