Peeps, I am tired. I can’t help comparing myself to my SIL Michelle, who ran a half-marathon when she was only a few weeks less pregnant than I am. Can I blame it on the twins? Can I? Huh? Work is pretty much kicking my butt and I have so many projects around the house that need to be worked on. We did finish painting the nursery (photos to follow) as well as a piece of furniture that goes in there. Now? I kinda want to wallpaper. Just one wall. That won’t be bad, will it? I mean, all those things on the internet that talk about marriages ending in divorce because of wall paper projects are exaggerations, right? I’ve got a call into a handyman place to see what the quote would be to get someone to come in and do it for us, but I have a feeling that’s going to be too expensive. So I’ve got to figure out whether I want to go forward with that or not.
Meanwhile, there’s a huge stack of stuff in the dining room earmarked for eBay. I FINALLY got a few items up on Sunday but it’s just a drop in the bucket compared to what I want to put up. While I was cleaning out the craft room (now the nursery) I found a big box of hats way up in the closet that I hadn’t seen in years and had, frankly, forgotten about. That inspired me to go through my giant hat collection and pick some to get rid of. I started collecting hats nearly 22 years ago, and I still have problems passing them up at yard sales. But they’re sitting around the apartment, collecting dust, losing their shape, and I think it’s time to move on. Here are a few I’m going to be selling on eBay in one big lot:
And a few more…
I’m keeping a LOT, of course, as this is just a drop in the bucket of what I have.
Stay tuned for more reports.
