Crafty Estate Sale.

I hit the most interesting estate sale on Saturday and then went back on Sunday.  I was hoping that they would be offering a 50% discount on Sunday, as most estate sale companies do, but they’re planning on having another weekend of the sale so things were only 30% off.

The interesting thing about this sale was the absolutely humongous supply of craft supplies. I didn’t know it on the first day, but the garage was full — really, truly, literally full — of bolts of fabric. I didn’t know that until Sunday, and by the time I got there, it was pretty picked over — I mean, there were hundreds of bolts left, but they were mostly polyesters. I did find these three big pieces:

They’re destined for lampshades. The gingham is for one of these cute figural child’s lamps that I’ve been holding on to.

The home owner’s entire attic was chock full of craft supplies and holiday decorations, all divided neatly into different holidays. I found these rolls of art paper — I’m not sure what their original purpose was. They’re somewhere between onion skin and vellum.

And then I got these odds and ends that I love.

Here’s the problem, though. I buy all these craft supplies yet I do not do any crafts. This cannot continue.
