In my last post about the booth re-do I somehow forgot to highlight the adorable hand-made Scottie dogs that my Mom is making out of vintage and felted fabrics. These three are currently in the Fayetteville booth but she’s sending me some more to sell this weekend at the Vintage Bazaar. I’ve been sick for...  I zipped down to Fayetteville last weekend to do a quick rehab of the booth. The last time I did this, the second week of December, we had our biggest month yet. Of course, that can probably be attributed to Christmas, but I’ve read that shaking things up on a regular basis can really help...  I trudged through the foot-high snow drifts last week to visit the Salvation Army on Grand Avenue. This is an iffy store. It’s the flagship Sally store, and has a little “antique boutique” on the second floor, where they secret away all of the really cool old stuff that people donate and mark them at...  One of my fellow vendors at All My Treasures in Fayetteville had these AMAZING vintage sewing appliques for sale in her booth while I was home. I think they must have come off of 1950s beaded sweaters and fancy dresses. I’m not sure where the rhinestone trim would have come from but it’s AWESOME and... |
